Asit Vyas

Who am I?

I am Asit Vyas, a filmmaker with a journey that spans acting, restaurant franchises, and the world of cinema. I was a franchisee of Burger King restaurants in San Jose and Pizza Hut in Connecticut and Rhode Island. While building my career as a fast-food franchisee, I pursued my cinematic passion by studying filmmaking, which led me to "Zara Si Bhool," a Bollywood feature made in Hollywood, available on Amazon Prime. As our children headed off to college, I embraced a career shift. I sold my franchise business and completed UCLA's prestigious Producer's Program, reigniting my dedication to the entertainment industry. Today, I am actively engaged in finding distributor of my second feature, "Paper Flowers" (https://paperflowersmovie.com/). While living in Los Angeles with my wife, I take pride in parenting a son and daughter pursuing professional careers with their spouses. My journey embodies enduring passion, dedication, and a celebration of diversity, whether in restaurants, films, or cherished family moments.

    ZSB Synopsis

In this Bollywood made in Hollywood murder mystery, AJAY ARORA (Mohan Bhandari) has a perfect life. His wife NINA (Sujata Mehta) and daughter MILI (Milisha Lal) surround him with love and support. Their family goal is to save enough money to return to their beloved homeland, India.

When successful financial adviser SHEKHAR ANAND (Asit Vyas) moves next door with his beautiful and seductive young wife SAMANTHA (Pamela Dickerson) Shekhar offers to help the Aroras build their nest egg to achieve their goal of a return to India. Unfortunately, the path Shekhar provides leads to corruption and crime.

Through a “small mistake” in judgement, Ajay finds himself arrested for rape and murder. Nina has lost all faith in him, and he ends up behind bars. He calls upon the only friend he has left who believes him, KARAN SEXENA (Kiran Merchant) to help him clear his name.

From the star-studded hills of Hollywood to the glittering riches of Beverly Hills, Ajay follows the clues to the dirty, dazzling Las Vegas in order to prove his innocence and regain the only thing that matters, the love of his family.
